Hands up if you are a chocolate lover! 🙋🏻‍♂️

Today I will show you the secrets of the perfect brownie recipe, a baked chocolate dessert loved for many. This is an easy and fast recipe you can do with your kids or sweet touch to surprise someone you love.

This brownie has a perfect crisp crackly top and super moist and chocolaty centre.

If you like nuts, don't doubt to add some to your brownie mix. You can present it with a dust of icing sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Find the nutrional value for this brownie at the end of the post, made by the Dra. Gaia Poggi.

Let's start with the ingredients we need.

Shopping list

150 gr caster sugar

90 gr dark chocolate

100 gr eggs

40 gr plain flour

100 gr butter

3 gr baking powder

23 gr cocoa powder

Step by step

The first step will be to melt the chocolate and butter together " a la Bain Marie".

TIP: Always melt them together, like this they will not split and you will have them mixed nicely.

While the chocolate it's melting you can start semi whipping the sugar with the eggs. After that's done, add all of the dry ingredients, the flour, the cocoa powder and the baking. When the mix it's ready you can add the melted chocolate to it.

PERSONALIZE: If you love nuts, don't doubt to add them to the mix now...

And here we go! The beautifully chocolaty brownie mix will be ready for the oven!

Preheat your oven at 160ºC and get your tray ready. To be sure that your mix doesn't stick, aside you put the butter and flour, on top attach some parchment paper. ;)

TIP: Don't bake at 180ºC or more as it may remain raw inside and the top will be crisp like a plastic.

Bake for about 30 minutes depending on your oven.

Top up with some icing sugar, and enjoy with milk or vanilla ice cream.
